Should I get the washing in?

My dad asked me to do some washing and put it out, so I did, about half an hour later it started raining and hasn't stopped. If the washing was nearly dry I'd take it, but it hadn't even started drying. One of the items is a pair of wool suit trousers (machine washable) so I'm slightly worried about those. I would bring it in, but I've got work to do, whereas my brother hasn't, and never does anything round the house, but he's gone out with a friend
