What to wear for the vets (receptionist work)?

I'm getting a job at the vets, as a receptionist but I'm thinking about becoming a vet as a career. I'm not sure how much I'll be allowed to do, I'm going down on friday to discuss the job and then I'll be doing my first day saturday but I'm not sure what to wear for Friday. I'm 16 and when I did work experience last year in a different vets I wore smart trousers, a semi smart/plain top and a jumper/cardigan over the top but its the middle of summer now and I want to be wearing something practical and smart but that will also keep me cool as sweaty would not be a nice look! Thanks!
