Does anyone know what it means when you see a white bat?

I was sitting outside talking on the phone just now to my friend and we where talking about how his grandpa is going to pull all his stocks because they're starting to crash, right then a white bat flew directly toward me and over my house. It's 1 in the morning. The bat was ******* huge had like a foot and a half wing span. I know some people don't care and I'm normally not superstitious but this kind of freaked the hell out of me.
