Do you describe Christians as being superstitious people?

Superstitious people are people who generally don't have a good understanding of scientific principles, right? They also tend to jump to a ridiculous conclusion when they witness something they don't understand, don't they? And, they think performing some absurd ritual somehow alters reality. Christians do all this stuff everyday of their lives, so they are superstitious people, right?
